A hundred years, I lived in a trance,
I waited for a moment and I looked for a chance.
A hundred years, I battled in fields,
I hopped on glimmers each time they appealed.
A hundred years, seasons rolled on in circles,
springs and falls have never altered on their own wills.
Time moved faster than before,
what remained is the record of dreams yet to explore.
People came and people were gone,
few stayed in memories while many were passing dawn.
A hundred years of the life that I outlived,
only love lasted longer, it brawled and it thrived.
Life is short, science is long; opportunity is elusive, experiment is dangerous, judgement is difficult.
